Introducing...Emily's baby brother/sister

EDD of March 16, 2010

Doctor said everything looks great. I am supposed to do a 24 hour urine test this weekend. The nurse is scheduling my appointment with the high risk doctor, and will let me know. My next appointment with my OB is August 14th. So excited and relieved that all is well! Just praying for continued growth and strength!

6 HOURS....

So in 6 hours we will finally get to have our first peak at our lovely baby #2. I am beyond words nervous and excited for our appointment. I just continue to pray that all goes well, and that both me and the baby are doing awesome. In fact, I am believing it. Please believe with me in prayer today. I will be sure to update this blog after our appointment.

Does a body good

I am wondering if it is unhealthy that I have single handedly drank a whole gallon of ff milk in 3 days. I have no shortage of calcium!

Man am I struggling! We have our first sono in 8 days and I just CANNOT wait. It seems like eternity! I am trying to not think too much about it. How can I not though? I am continually praying that we see a strong heartbeat and healthy baby at next weeks appointment. That is all I can do!

Emily's Reaction

Following the last blog entry, I wanted to post Emily's reaction when we told her. Please ignore the bed head, guess I neglected to comb my hair.

I was wrong afterall!

Last Sunday evening I was pretty sure I started my cycle. On Monday I was to get a blood test and I almost didn't go. Around 3:30 Monday I got a call from the nurse, "congratulations, you are pregnant! But it is very early!" My hcg level was only 29. I kept saying, I thought I wasn't! The nurse said the bleeding must have been implantation. I was in complete shock, and still am! Praise the Lord that my first round of fertility treatments worked!! I had two follow up betas and everything was looking great! I have my first ultrasound on Tuesday, July 28. Please continue to pray for this little one we have hoped for as obviously we are not out of the woods yet! Thank you!!!!!

Waiting for Monday

I have a beta (blood pregnancy test) scheduled for Monday morning. I gotta be honest with you and say that I am not very optimistic. Not sure why...I don't have any signs or symptoms. If it does end up negative, I will stop the progesterone and should be able to start the process over again in another week (ultrasound). I am still believing something could change, I just am not going to get my hopes up! I need to remember this cycle almost got cancelled anyway. Prayers for Monday!
